emoji language video.

(Duration 13 secs)

Dimensions 720x1280

This animation was created for the Graduate Fashion Week website, to represent my work throughout university and my interests. The animation was created using Photoshop. Throughout 3rd year, I spent a lot of time looking into different social media platforms and how they are used to interact with consumers. I looked into the power of the emoji and how an emoji language has come about. The animation displays a range of my work that I developed from my research in digital interaction and engagement with consumers.

final major project logo.

Dimensions 1993x703

This logo was created for my final major project. The logo was created using Illustrator, I found the font I wanted to use and then decided to play around with the letters in the name, I wanted a simple, sleek logo that represented my final major project. My final major project was a concept start up business for a new health and fintess hub and lifestyle experience for millennial females, therefore it was important to reflect the business' qualities through the logo and assure they are identifiable.

business plan layout.

Dimensions 297mmx210mm

(Duration 2:33 mins)

This page turning video shows the layout for my business plan for my final major project. The business plan booklet was created in Indesign and was A4. I chose a selection of colours to use throughout the booklet for the page backgrounds and then selected large imagery to be used through the business plan which represented the brand, all imagery was referenced. I wanted there to be a magazine/lookbook feel to to the business plan to express the branding for my business.

Both the business plan and the marketing plan for my final major project were produced to be part of a pair. This photograph shows the two documents together. Both documents were created in Indesign, A4. I created the front covers separately in order to create a document size suitable for perfect bind.

dissertation layout.

Dimensions 297mmx210mm

(duration 2:04 mins)

This video shows a page turning of my dissertation. My dissertation assessed the sportswear sector and the future of the sector. The document was created in Indesign, A4 landscape.
I used a range secondary imagery throughout the project, which is all referenced, to help represent the sportswear sector and the fashion influences. Trends were anaylsed to gather a selection of images which reflect the crossover between sportswear and fashion and the atheleisure trend. A fairly neutral colour palette was selected for the layout, with the use of flashes of pink linear shapes across the pages to show the focus on womenswear.

trend forecasting booklet.

Dimensions 297mmx210mm

(duration 38 secs)

This animation shows a selection of pages from my trend forecasting project. The booklet was created using Indesign, A4. Using WGSN and other trend drivers, I predicted a trend for AW17 called 'Sceptical Seizure', where I looked into the zeitgeist of the times, which saw the mistrust in government and society from millennial consumers  leading to trends within streetwear. I created a visual look book to portray this trend and then looked at the silhouettes, fabrics and colours that would fit in the trend. I used CADs from WGSN to create my own range plan, I edited these CADs in Illustrator before placing them in my Indesign document.

marketing plan.

(duration 34 secs)

I created this animation to show some of the pages from my marketing plan for Miss Selfridge. I created the original document in Indesign, A4. I stuck to the brand identity for Miss Selfridge, using colours, fonts and imagery similar to that which they would use. The marketing plan looked into the fashion retailer, studying the 7 P's of marketing. I then came up with a new social media campaign for Miss Selfridge to help improve their social media following from their existing consumer as research showed their social media following was low in comparison to their competitors and needed improving.

event management flyer.

Dimensions 1748x2480

This flyer was created for the event management project, the flyer was created using Photoshop. This was a group project so we all had input on the branding. As our event was for a nightclub event to promote local DJs, we branded our event in a way which would fit the feel of the venue and the genre of the event. I liased with local DJs to get free bookings and then contacted them for their logos for the flyer.

event management logo.

This logo was created for the event management project. Our group was called 'Daize Events', the logo was created in Photoshop by the whole group, but I designed the original logo myself by sketching up a design for the layout. We used this logo across all our marketing and social media. We also got t-shirts printed with the logo for charity fundraisers we put on and used the logo in branding for packaging for products we sold, such as boxes for sweets.
